Are there some parts of your island that cause framerate drop?

The title says it. The game gets slightly choppy when i walk around my airport entrance and there are also villagers walking around it. But it doesn't when there's only me on the entrance though

Yes... I recently made a boardwalk area with both shops + cafe + arcade and the areas with lots of furniture and fencing kill my frames... It never happened when I had less furniture out. :( Like items are straight up popping into existence when I walk past.

Yes, the game gets choppy when I go to the upper right side of my map. I hardly have any decorations and only 1 or 2 villager houses, but the flowers are everywhere. I need to remove them, but been putting it off because it's a daunting task. I need a weed whacker.

Yes, the areas behind and sometimes front of my Resident Services do.
I have a small 'book store' and 'bar' and some other things behind the building.

My second tier cliff always lags because there is a flower field on the second tier and then beside it on the ground level is another smaller flower field so I think the game can't handle all of that.

Yes, there's a heck lot of flowers near a villagers house and whenever I pass by it, my game stutters/lags for a quick second.

My island used to lag back when I had over 700+ flowers on the central part of my island thanks to my negligence while time traveling. Now I only have over 400 flowers, but it is scattered across my island so it doesn't lag.

The frame rate of my game dropped during bug off event. I have a few hedges and a lot of flowers near the residential services. This happens regardless if using dock mode or not with my Nintendo Switch. The four villagers circling in that area contributed to it too.

There’s a few areas in my island that do that! Nothing too crazy but it is noticeable c:

I've noticed the game slows down when I walk past my waterfall area behind the town hall. It's not much, but it's a little bit annoying.

I have it drop in a foresty area where I have a waterfall, lots of flowers (I've tried to cut down on the flowers but it hasn't helped so far), Marina's house with a few things in front of it, and to the left on a separate cliff is an outdoor church setup using the wedding set. Gets really choppy when I'm walking up and down from that area. I hope if I can just cut back on the flowers it'll be less of an issue...

I'm guessing due to the frame issues with this and Pokemon Sword and Shield (man it's awful sometimes) they'll probably release a slightly upgraded Switch like they did with the 3DS.

I don't have any problems with frame drops yet. Then again, I'm not done with decorating my island, so guess I may have to deal with this depending if the game can handle my decoration ideas without dropping the frames. :/

Yeah just had this happen with one of my neighborhood areas. It has only 2 residents but is decorated thoroughly (I guess?) which is causing it to be really choppy when I walk through. Such a shame because this has become one of my favorite areas on my island :(

It just started yesterday. I thought it was because of the tourney, but it’s still there. I’ve removed most of my additions to the area, but it didn’t help. I won’t quit ANCH like I did SMOdyssey over this issue, but I despise lag.

My market area has always been particularly bad, though during the bug off it got so bad that I did the event on a friend’s island.
