Are mom items seasonal?

I know the mom items are mailed randomly but are there some items that are only mailed during summer months, or winter months, etc? Also is there a specific date that the "mom" will mail them? I have a self imposed rule right now that I can't trade for them or buy them from others because I don't want to get items out of season. But if they're random and really infrequently sent, I might change that. Thanks in advance ^_^

The mom items come out in different months and the color/pattern variants change every year.

Each item is set for each month, barring your birthday cake, though I can't confirm if they varied per hemisphere, so this is in regards to the northern.
The tissues were always April. I TT'd a few times back and forth on my second island to rotate out villagers, and got sooo many tissue boxes whenever I went through April, up to May and then back.

So your saying we can get many copys? Do the tissue box all the same color or it random?

Yep! If you skip out of the month, and then come back to it, you will get the item mailed to you again with the same letter. Cannot recall now if it is a guarantee on the 1st of every month, but I am almost positive.

I also believe every non - clothing item that Mom sends can be customized. I recall being sad I couldn't customize the backpack when I got it because the rest I had to that point, including the plushie, can be customized. But they are randomized what color she sends you. : )

i got the game in march and i did not get at item and the one before at. I Got april to june items. I Got Mom Homemade cake from a trade so i do not know where at be.

Edited my post to fix the list, it broke a bit.
In any case, you would only get April onward without TTing, as I believe my theory of only getting the item on the first of the month is the case!

In the instance you TT past the 1st of the month, as long as you have a save that would skip over the 1st, it would count. No one could start March 1st unless they set their Switch to that before loading up.

So you should have the tissues, knapsack and apron without TT at the moment! : )

I Never TT in my life as i get my items from this site if needed. So your right about the items i got so far

For the furniture mom items, like the plushie, cushion, and tissue box, you can customize it so you don't need multiple copies unless you want them. The only one that can't be customized are the clothes like sweaters and aprons.

Ooh maybe I could amend my rule so whatever items I have gotten naturally, I can actually buy variants of from people, but I *have* to wait til I naturally get the item in game before I can do it ^_^ that way, it isn't "cheating" (to me) since I'm waiting for the corresponding month still! I mean.. I doubt I can wait multiple years to get all the variants naturally lol

ruby slippers Is the User at help me With Copies i do not have. She Is super nice and she allow me To catlog the items she get in trade. So unless something happen and she get busy i will get the Clothes from her to catalog.
