Are Dung Beetles rare?

So, for those of you who have traveled a bit into the future... are dung beetles rare? I hope it doesn't become like a scorpian or tarantula type of thing where I'm hunting it forever for my museum...

IIRC from past games, not so much; It's got a decent spawn rate, and realistically you just have to exit out of the cell and enter again until you see the snowball rolling if you're determined to catch one; that or you could just wait, you'll definitely run into one before february comes.

I don't think so. You just have to be playing at night. I run into them all the time at night and they irritate me, because they roll my snowballs around when I'm trying to make a snowman.

I don't think so lol. I'm ahead a few days and saw one rolling around a snowball not too long ago. It was daytime, too. Marshal pinged me and bought it right afterwards.

The bug isn't rare, it's just that the snowballs are rare. Leave the balls out during the day and check back regularly before attempting to roll a snow puppet.

I've seen several a day in my cycling town when it was winter.

I don't think they're too rare. I found 'em commonly.

They aren't very rare. They do only show up 5pm - 8am pushing a snowball around. If you have already made a snowman that day, they won't show up again until the next day pushing a snowball around.
