Are black roses rare at all?

just wondered as I planted a whole variety of red, white, and yellow roses on my east facing beach last night and this morning I found a new hybrid which was a black rose so, could anybody tell me if its worth anything?

Also in order to get hybrids does it matter at all how I arrange the flowers, do I need to lets say plant all of the red roses in one row next to a row of white roses and a row of yellow? or can I plant the flowers any which way i please and still get a hybrid, any advice in regards to the way I should plant them would be greatly appreciated, also if you can post photos so I get a better idea of what your saying too that would be awesome

It's still a hybrid, but it's less rare then say a Blue Rose since those take two hybrid flowers to make one, and the Black roses just come from two reds, so it's similar to a pink or orange rose.

Yellow shouldn't touch yellow, so planting a row of yellow roses is a bad idea. You might want to sandwich the yellow roses between a few rows of red roses. Just make sure the yellow roses aren't touching each other. White and yellow shouldn't be touching each other either for the same reason.

theyre as easy as most other hybrids to breed tbh. when u have a few u can basically get a field of them in a short time

Considered easier than normal.
The REAL rare flower is the Blue Rose, needing to go through several procedures to get one. Same goes for the Purple Pansy.

Now my interest has been awakened. I've never seen a black rose but I do get a lot of roses that are very dark, like a maroon(?) that almost borders on black. Just what are those? They come from reds on reds. Edit: While thinning out my Tulips, I saw that same color identified as black. Yep, common stuff.

they're probably the easiest to breed out of all hybrids to be honest.

I think they're pretty easy to get tbh. Golden roses are worth a lot though, as you need the golden watering can and they never wilt. You have to wait for the black roses to wilt, however

If I have the Beautiful Town Ordinance on, will the black roses wilt? Or do I have to change ordinances for it to happen??
