Long story short, I promised Apple to my friend, and have been holding her all day. It is midnight here, and I have to go to sleep soon, in order to be able to wake up in the morning at a reasonable hour and go to work. Although I want to give her to my friend, like I promised, she has not shown up and I would rather have Apple go to a good home, rather than be voided.

I gave my friend a 30 minute warning, giving her a last-minute chance to get Apple.

However, if she does not claim her in 30 minutes (12:30 am PST [that means past midnight]), I'll give her away to a lucky player who wants her and can pick her up immediately. Priority will be given to people who have her in their sig as a dreamie.

Ok, but you will need space for her in 25 minutes (if my friend does not show up). I am not staying up extra late, because I don't want to be a zombie at work. This is already later than I planned.

EDIT: My friend PMed me, and said that she could not manage to make space, because it is hard to void an undesirable villager when you want to keep 9 out of 10 of your villagers.
