Apparently there are now Scary games that are inspired by Animal Crossing

There's a Horror game based off of Dobutsu no Mori/Animal Forest; aka the Japan-exclusive N64 Animal Crossing Game;

and there's a new scary game called Rental; which is described as Animal Crossing meets Silent Hill. . .

I Wonder if and/or when Someone will turn Aika Village into an actual Horror game; like not a mere island; but we get to see the events of Aika Village play out prior to Our Player visiting the Dream Address. . .

Honestly. . . I'm sure a Prequel for Aika Village would be SCARY AS FUDGE!!

From an unbiased standpoint, it would be interesting, but I wouldn’t play it. I’m not into horror things in general.

Its bound to happen when at somepoint family oriented series will attract more grown ups who like edgier stuff hence why winnie the pooh had its own horror movie lol.

Apparently there's someone making ANOTHER Scary Animal Crossing game; Called Hungry Neighbors. . .

so far for Scary games inspired by Animal Crossing there's Rental, There's Harvest Festival 64, Now Hungry Neighbors, Nui goes to Town

and Yet in spite of all these Scary version of Animal Crossings either out or in development; there's STILL No Horror games based off of Animal Crossing that takes influence from Aika Village/Aika Island. . .

I think it could be interesting, if it didn’t get too graphic or anything. I’d rather watch other people play it than play it myself, though.

It's probably much harder now to have one inspired by that particular village since Nintendo ended official online for New Leaf. I know there's unofficial ways to go online with NL now, but when Nintendo closed the servers the dream address was lost. And unless the creator uploaded a new DA to these new unofficial servers I doubt many remember or understand the reference. That was a long time ago. New Horizon released 5 years ago, almost going on 6. It doesn't feel like it has, but that much time has passed just with NH.

Makes sense. Some of the cut content doesn't make sense. Like why does HHP and Harv's Studio have large rooms, but we're left with super small side rooms without a chance to expand like NL.
