Anyone know a fast way to get T&T?

I just got T.I.Y. today, but I really want to get the witch outfit from Gracie Grace this month. I can't go to another person's town to buy one, because my connection only allows me to play with someone using the same wifi and no one I know in real life has T&T unlocked yet. Any suggestions? I don't mind time traveling if I can do it one day at a time.

Buy all the outfit themes and then time travel until she appears, wear the requested theme, time travel one day forward and then back again. Repeat 4 times.

I'd have the themes ready but Gracie won't show up until you have spent a certain amount of bells in T.I.Y. I'm not sure how many bells it is, but I think it's a lot. So try and buy as many items from them everyday if you want to speed up the process. Don't buy fortune cookies or stationery, though. They don't really count towards the upgrade.
