Back from Hiatus (3/18/22)
I've posted my designs there in the past, but hardly anyone looks in that board and it's kinda hard to judge engagement. I hesitated to open up my current shop in there as well because the board just doesn't receive much traffic.
I don't think the lack of traffic is because people are disinterested in a pattern sharing board, but rather I think that people don't usually use the sub-boards as often. Some people may not even know it's there because in order to get there you have to go to the general new horizons board, which imo doesn't make sense. Pattern gallery is even worse, because it's a sub-sub board, and it sees one post a week if you're lucky. I think it's a shame, and I think I have a solution.
In my opinion, Able Sisters should be moved out of being a sub board and be a main board in the New Horizons category. I'm officially starting a little petition for this change, please leave a like on this post if you want to show the staff that we really want this change.
Mods, thank you for all your hard work and everything you do, and I sincerely hope you consider this change for the good of us pattern makers out there.
