Any tips for the 16 villager cycle?

I have been doing a lot of TT-ing lately and I missed that my villager Kiki was moving out. I?m making a cat town and she was the normal villager I really wanted to keep, for the PWP pings.
It was my fault because I wasn?t being careful enough, but now I?m really regretting it! I like her a lot better than all the other normal cat villagers, so are there any tips/ websites you all use that explain the best way to go through the 16 villager cycle? I could just move in another normal cat villager like Mitzi or Lolly if the cycle is too hard, but I?d like to get her back. I have 7 villagers I want to keep and 3 that I can cycle out.
Any help would be appreciated!

i've never tried to cycle any villagers out before, but someone i know has. you basically have to TT forward a day, see if any villagers ping you to leave, and if they don't, TT forward another day and it repeats like that. you have to talk to your villagers though, because after a week, they won't ping you because they haven't talked to you in so long. this process can be time consuming, but it's really the only way i know of

I see, so I?m guessing then it can count as someone already in your town moving out as well? And then when new villagers move in and then you have to wait for them to ping you and ask to move? It?s a lot more time consuming to wait for 16 people and so I?m not even sure if it?s worth it

Yep it's a very very time consuming process. If you're really adamant about it I'd probably recommend just ordering Kiki's amiibo card on ebay. The cards make for a nice collectible anyways so kindave a double win sorry you're in this situation htough

It?s okay it was my fault! so if you order the actual amiibo card, it won?t prevent her from moving into your village?

Yep the amiibo cards override the 16 villager cycle i've personally confirmed this several times as well~

That?s good to know. I don?t have an NPC reader yet, but I could get one and the Kiki amiibo and then I wouldn?t have to do all the work of cycling through. I would rather do that then have to put all that time into it! It frustrating sometimes when the ones you want to move won?t ping you! Thanks for your help guys
