hi, i'm in norway too! and also only have japanese cards. my only current double is limberg, but i'm waiting for a couple new packs to arrive in the mail.

yes, they work, amiibo cards are region free.

i'd probably trade some of my non-doubles too, though, for characters i really wanted... we'll see.

And i bought a box of 50 card packs and 5 extra card packs at another place that i had for gotten about.
so have 8 packs of cards unopened and a couple of doubles (aka leftovers).

And yes they work fine both with my eu new 3ds and my japanese 3ds
