So, quick question.

I'm going to be TTing a villager into boxes for someone. The person in question has someone moving out in four days.

If they come adopt my villager, will they move in despite someone moving out in the same period?

Any answers welcome. Help! :O

Extra Thought: If my villager DOES safely move in, will they put a plot down in 1-3 days as usual, or will they wait until the adopter's villager has left?

I can tell you that when I had someone moving out, and got a voided wifi movein, the wifi movein interrupted the moveout.

For clarity: Bertha was due to go, and on the day she was due to be in boxes, I found a wifi plot for Marcel. Bertha was not in boxes and no longer said anything about leaving. I expect that if your friend adopts the new villager now it will interrupt the one they have on the way out.

That's what I was afraid of.

But if its a voluntary move-in, i.e., the mayor personally invited someone in, do you think the outcome would be the same?

No way to tell until you try it, but my gut feeling is that that's the case. I mean there's no mechanical difference between a wifi movein and a requested one, just a day's delay in the latter case.

I see. I'll have to speak with my friend and see how badly he wants his villager out.

I'm contemplating telling him to void or adopt his villager before mine moves in. That might be the safer option.
