Another Amiibo glitch?

Sorry if this has been mentioned before, but I couldn’t find anything.

I tried using an amiibo to get a villager into the campsite, but I got a message saying that they can’t come because they’re moving. I’ve never used this amiibo before, but I think the problem is with the game because I tried clearing the data on the amiibo several times and it didn’t work. I even tried using a duplicate amiibo of the same character with the same results. I’ve tried different characters and they all worked just fine. I summoned them at Harveys and they showed up. I tried bringing in a different amiibo character onto my Island and I also left an empty plot open with airplane mode on hoping they were in the void somehow. Nothing seems to have worked, any ideas would be appreciated.

I think that means the villager is in your Move In queue from some other player's unclaimed Move Outs.

No, it means you'll get the villager as a random move-in eventually. It might take a few, though.

Yeah, they're likely somewhere in your Move In queue, but they might not be the first. Could take a little while to clear it all out up until Marshal shows up, but I'm pretty confident he's in there somewhere.
