Hello! I have a question about plot resetting. This time I had to try for many days before I got a good spot for Zell. Now I'm worried that when I load the game with my mayor, one of my other animals will have moved away. Is that possible?

I had 9 animals living in my town, when starting the plot resetting.

Thanks in advance!

As far as I know, villagers cannot move out while someone is moving in, but they may try to move out right after. As in, they may ping the day that the house arrives. After your new villager is in boxes, and unpacking, just talk to some villagers around town and use the rumor guides to find out if someone may ping. Good luck!

Just remembered that there is something like a grace period, where a villager won't ping to leave until 3-4 days after someone else has pinged. I'm pretty sure this also applies to after someone moves out, so it may work when someone moves in. I also heard no one will try and move if someone in town is sick, but I dunno bout that last one.

In my experience, no one will move out while you are plot resetting. I've gone MANY days plot resetting with no worries.

Nope, i've plot resetted for about longer than a week before and nobody tried to move out on me. Like the others said, nobody can try to move out while somebody is moving in, no matter how long the plot resetting takes. Although, when Zell does move in, they may ping quite early to leave (as in the next day.) but no, nobody will move out. They might ping you about moving but other than that they will not move without your knowledge.
