I like to start my bug hunting and fish catching on the island from 9pm-11pm, if I'm really in need of bells I will do a second round starting from 11pm-1am. Also having the bell boom ordinance in place really helps too :]]]] hoped that helped... lools

if it was you I'd never want to leave...
updating your dream can earn you 5000 bells. for island, go after 7pm and also make sure to activate bell boom ordinance, it's much faster that way. also check for any retail buying perfect fruit on premium on the forum if you have any. i once made 2m bells just buy selling 12 or more baskets of perfect peaches.
