We've all heard of Wii *yawn* Resort... the newest cheap way for Nintendo to make money while further increase the Wii's popularity while failing to release the first good first-patry Wii game since Punchout the Donkey Kong Gamecube remake... with added motion controls!!! Other Gamecube game remakes, now with motion controls and nothing else... Animal Crossing... wait, that's a Gamecube remake just with new controls, too the best-selling game in years, Wii Fit... well, it was fun the first 2 days, at least Mario Kart Wii is a pretty fun game. That came out in April, 2008! That's 15 months between good games... and counting... because Wii Sports Resort is just going to be another joke of a "video game"... it hurts me to even call it a video game.

I guess I shouldn't be so hard on Nintendo, though... if you read the first paragraph of that article you'll notice everyone's jumped on the bandwagon already...

I still have a lot of faith left in it. It's an awesome system, and I've seen what Nintnedo is able to do for years and years... even when they're heavily criticized, I still find gems from 'em and on their systems. But it's getting to the point where it's all about the money...
"let's make a new add-on for 3 games..." or "what's the cheapest game we can make that will sell a couple hundred thousand copies?" It's starting to get frustrating.

Mario Party 8 was terrible.

Nintendo better not screw up the next Zelda, Mario Galaxy and Metroid.

Yeah, they still got a slew of Mario games, the next Zelda, Metroid, Pikmin 3, and a bunch of other things coming out.

I don`t know why people are paying attention to the Wii right now, when we know they`re in the works of developing other games for the future, and have been working on most of these games for a while. Most of the `09 stuff is in a different direction.

nintendo needs a quality control on their games... there are so many *censored.2.0*ty games on the wii it's not even funny.

what does homebrew do exactly? is it like jailbreaking for the iphone?

or like adding games and applications, cheat engines, like that?

The Wii is meant for a casual audience, a casual audience doesn't really need new games constantly coming up if older games still bring entertainment value.

I got Mario Kart Wii the day it came out and I still play it pretty regularly.
