An old player of the original game but a new one to 3DS

Hey guys, as mentioned I remember getting the original Animal Crossing on GameCube right around when it released and played the heck outta it. One of the best ways of making cash in that game was fruit. Back then I managed to get every type of fruit and plant them in town, however in Animal Crossing New Leaf I still haven't gotten the other fruits besides the oranges the apples (starting fruit) and the many island fruits. Can someone help me out with this as in getting the ones I am missing? Also I'm new to these forums thanks

Forgot to mention, I'm kinda New to 3DS in general as I only use it to play games and almost never use its other features including online functionality. So I'm not really sure if I would need to visit another town and collect fruit off the trees in another person's town or exchange items another way

I think in order to visit other people's towns you need to exchange fc for the 3ds
Meaning you need theirs and they need yours
You should be able to fill that out on here on your profile
If your want fruit I'd be willing to give you some of mind if your willing to help me test my connection

The fastest way to get all the fruit would be to visit someone's town, but you need to exchange friend codes and you need to be online.
You can also try sending fruit to your villagers in letters and sometimes they'll send you non-native fruit. This doesn't always happen though so it can take time.

I've actually never went online even once with this game so it would be cool to see another person's town also. Just need to add friend code to profile
