To get the OG Amiibo cards, you’ll have to go on Ebay or Etsy. Lots of people sell them and are legit uwu. If you wanna get some and not break the bank on rarer neighbors, go for the handmade Amiibo coins/cards. I’m not sure when Nintendo is going to start officially reselling Amiibo cards. I think I heard they were, but I’m not 100% positive. >_<
You can get fanmade cards that work just as well as the real ones on places like Etsy.
If you're in the US and looking for the official cards:
Nintendo did restock them a while ago, but they quickly went out of stock. They're not even on their website anymore, so they might be done with restocking them there, unfortunately.
Check Gamestop though, I was able to buy a few earlier today on their website.

On Amazon you can get a pack of 72 mini cards and it lists the villagers that you will get.

Once and forever
I’ve seen amiibo cards go in and out of stock regularly on the target and GameStop websites. Nintendo is continuing to restock the cards as far as I understand it and I believe the welcome amiibo series is being rereleased in December.
the cards are 5.99/ pack for 6 cards in the us; beware of third party sellers on Amazon selling them for crazy markups:
Check Target, Best Buy, GameStop and Amazon online. They have been listing them for $5.99 a pack. They sell out sometimes but just be sure to check back a couple times a day because they do restock them. Best Buy was really fast with their shipping so I recommend them. Some Gamestops have them in store now too
