Amiibo Use

Hi I am new to the whole amiibos collection and I was wondering if someone could clarify a few things for me:
I assume I can't use an amiibo if I already have a campsite visitor??
Also can I use an amiibo if I have people packing or unpacking?

You may use an amiibo while villagers are packing and unpacking. And you can also kick them out while they are packing and unpacking. I cant remember whether or not you can use one while you already have a camper though. Having a camper is rare, so I wouldn't worry about it.

Thank you so much for responding. That's great to know, I'm still waiting on them to get here so I'm hoping tomorrow will be the day. I have Elvis moving in tomorrow so I wasnt sure if I had to wait. For some reason I've had 2 campers in the past week which is unusual but maybe they knew I was waiting on something

You'll have to invite them and fulfill their requests on three different days to be able to move them to your island, anyone moving out now should be gone by then.

Also remember to scan your amiibo on Harvey's island to unlock their posters^^
