Hi everyone! I'm looking into purchasing Amiibo cards online, and noticed that unscanned ones go for more money. Does anyone know why? Is it just because they're unused, or is there an actual difference between scanned vs. unscanned Amiibos? Thanks! 🥰

There is no difference, the chip in the card has no memory of whether it was scanned zero times or a hundred

i assume the price difference comes in from the quality of the card. "its brand new, never played with" kind of feel. it should work the same whether its been scanned or not. other card games like magic and pokemon are the same way.
