hey, i've got a question and can't find an answer D: so i have a bunch of amiibo cards from my bday, and i went to put erik in the boxes. i thought that when wisp said he'll be moving out, someone else can adopt him? his house just vanished D: i want to give him to my gf, do i have to have a cycling town?

I've used a card in my town to move a villager out. The moving villager was in boxes when I went to check. The house didn't vanished. The next day the house will be gone and the new villager house will be roped off.
