I only do this with the few villagers who I know will never leave me. I gave Kid Cat a few Mush pieces & I'm trying to give Marshal more Sloppy stuff to round out his house.

No, I generally decline giving them any rare, event, or unorderable furniture unless it will look good in their homes and it's an extra. Most of the time, I'm not carrying anything I want to see in their homes, so I find myself always spamming "no" when they ask for stuff.

Yep, if it fits with their house theme. I gave Merengue a kitchen island and I sent Rasher a few of my extra sloppy items when he replaced his. I'm trying to get Bill to replace his screen with a white violet screen but for the life of me, he won't do it. I already have all the unorderables so having their homes decorated nicely is more important than keeping spares.

I gave Wolfgang & Whitney the flower bouquet, plan to maybe give one to Maple and Fauna as well. I get so many duplicates from Leif in my cycle town.

What's annoyed me lately is Wolfgang.. I don't like his modern items in his house -at all-. So I've been giving him items from the sloppy series, he replaced one of the gyroids for the sloppy tv, then I gave him a sloppy dresser which replaced his modern table.
Then he asked for any piece of furniture so I gave him the sloppy bed HOPING it would replace his modern bed, nope... now the sloppy dresser is gone, and I don't have an xtra to give it back to him D: So now he's chillin with two beds lol. Not sure if he'll ever replace his modern bed with what I give him.

Yeah, I do give my villagers gracie sets, unorderable furnitures, single downloadable content items, island items and sometimes Isabelle items, pretty which furniture which will go well with their house interior and colour wise too c: since they are permanent it's fun to give the best to our lovely animal villagers!

I only send unorderables to my villagers if I already have one or so. Otherwise, I wouldn't waste them, lol.
