Am I the only one that didn't know this?

So, recently I wrapped and placed presents around my event plaza tree for dream visitors to dress up in and use. I thought I properly had everything placed in a location that wouldn't be eaten by redd's tent or other similar situations....and I was wrong. His tent made it just close enough that one of my presents disappeared. So I figured, "well there goes that forever..." and luckily it wasn't something rare like the throwing beans.

Today, I went inside my police station which I never do and behold my present was safe and sound sitting on the lost and found table. Just wondering if I've been super slow or if others knew this happened. I know people have been stating villager's houses have made their money bags or items laying about disappear. So I wonder if theirs managed to pop up in the police station too although I can see money not being the same as an item.....

Thoughts?

Yeah, stuff that gets displaced by houses or tents will wind up in your police station. Kind of a nice feature, I think.

I was really shocked. XD Just went in kinda half interested knowing it'd be full of pitfalls...kinda made my day in a weird way even though it was only a reoderable wig.

Yeah, it just goes to the lost and found. This is reason enough to get yourself a police station haha.

Right? I was so relieved to find all my bush starts in the police station after I'd scattered them there in a landscaping prep session.

This happened to me too >.< I put some REAL paintings on my town plaza, and redd came in "o-o so I ran to my police station and they were all there
