Am I doing some in wrong? Or am I just unlucky.

I have been trying to breed hybrids for the past few months. And starting a few days ago, 90% of the time I would get any hybrids. I’m trying to breed blue roses right now, and I haven’t been getting anything! Not even a black rose!
So can someone tell me if I’m doing something wrong or if I’m just having the worst Luck ever?

How are you placing the flowers? And are you watering them everyday?

I barely get black roses too. Tbh we need more details there could be several factors like, do you you water every flower in your town? How do you place the flowers? Etc. Also blue roses are really hard to come by, I don't think you're doing something wrong if you follow the guides. People take months just to get their first one.

What is the flower setup your using? red + red eventually you will get a black, if you can bury fertilizer next to them and maybe place a jacobs ladder next to them too if you can? Blues are significantly harder to get, I tried for well over a year, but I am very unlucky. Blue roses require you to use orange and purple roses (bred together) to acquire hybrid red roses and breed the 2 hybrid red roses together, keep trying! It can take a while!

what is your flower set up like? are you watering everyday? and is there other flowers placed that villagers can water?

villagers watering your other flowers will effect the amount of flowers bred everyday so it's best to breed your flowers on the beach and don't have other flowers around the map so they cant water them

I put 3 in a diagonal pattern like this

With a Jacobs ladder on the top middle.
And i just put a fertilizer from another town in the middle.
And it’s not just the blue rose making not giving me anything. Basicly every other hybrid I try to make I never get any thing. Such as orange pansies, blue pansies, orange cosmos, ect.

And yes, I water them everyday

Hold up everyday & NEVER get anything? Did you obtain them naturally or bought it from here?

Unless there's an item, tree, building, or bush in the way of hybrids spawning, you should have grown a few by now, at least orange or pink.
Make sure you're breeding the correct colors and continue to water them daily.
Blues are the hardest to get, so you'll have to continue having patience for those. Keep trying for the easier colors, like oranges and pinks. It only took me a day or two to grow those. If you still can't get any,there must be something wrong. Try moving the flowers you're attempting to breed to a completely different spot in your town. Best of luck to you.^^

well every so often I get things. But most of the time I get nothing. Also I grew the flowers my self or got them from Leif. And I dont have anything blocking the hybrids, and I have my blue rose making on the beach, and everything else is on my main part of town, still no luck.. but thanks for the luck!

It's weird that you're not getting orange/pink ones... they usually breed like rabbits hahaha even when I don't water sometimes, (when it rains) I still get an orange or pink hybrid the next day. You could try setting the ordinance to beautiful town and JUST watering the flowers you want hybrids from and keep trying that way. That increases your chances!

I feel your pain, though, I've been trying to get those dang blue roses for like half a year now RIP hybrid reds are probably one of the hardest to figure out, but just keep at it. Who knows sometimes one might just pop out unexpectedly someday, but I've never successfully grown blue roses. They're the only hybrid I've been able to never get so I'm not giving up this time! Lol

and the best way is to make sure you have a perfect town...i get like 3 to 5 hybrids daily in my town and yes i do water them with gold can even though they are not wilted...

Today and yesterday I got something. Obviously not a blue rose.. But! Every other hybrid in my town DIDENT Make anything!
I honostly don’t have a clue why I’m not getting anything AT ALL. I have been getting things for a while but ever sense around 5 days ago, I have been getting like nothing out of my hybrids. About 3-4 weeks ago I dident know that roses from hybrid red roses dident make blue roses (unless they can idk) I got stuff everyday but ever sense I started over and made 3 more hybrid red roses from an orange and purple parent, I have been getting basicly nothing.

Hmm. . .where did you get your flowers from? If you got them from an outside source, there is a chance they could be hacked, and hacked hybrids can't breed.

So you got something, but STILL not from hybrids? Ok, try this for 2 days.

Separate 4 sets of hybrids, plant them on the beach. Must be 4 different colors, a pair of each - that should be enough to easily keep count if they will produce one hybrid. And 1 of out 4 is the blue rose pair or hybrid reds to make a blue. Like, pink+pink, purple+purple, blue+blue. So on. Don't water anything above your town, ONLY water those. In those 2 days at least one of them should produce a hybrid. The purple one's have 100% chance of producing hybrids. If you reach the 3rd day & still no hybrids from the set, there is something strangely wrong because you shouldn't even get just 1 if you have beautiful town & gold watering can.

If you want to, you can invite someone to your town to check your breeding area and help you out, make sure it is someone you trust.

104 bells is more than enough but either way I may be able to help you with some of my own blue roses. It's not like I'm gonna play on my 3DS anymore anyways.

I will try, but I don’t have my blue roses yet and I accidentally trampled 1 of the 2 purple roses I had. So I might have to do it with some other things such as hybrid reds, two whites, two orange, two pink. Or something just to see

Ok, just started doing that with the pairs. I’m only using 3 on the hybrid red roses cause if I move one I might forget it’s hybrid. So I’m sticking with 3 for them, and I watered them all. So I will update tomorrow and/or the day after

Edit: I just remembered I watered something else on top of my town, so I’m gonna hope and pray that the doesent make anything, and that everything on the beach makes hybrids
