No I don't think Toby will ever be liked to the caliber of Julian or Marshal. I think W. Link's popular now because he is new and different from generic Marshal and Julian. I had him in my town before, I personally didn't like him as much as Marshal.

I love Toby, but I also like Marshal a lot (I love albino animals) I have both in my town

I love smugs...I would have a town full of them if it wasn't for repetitive dialogue.
W Link and Toby are wondeful. I'm sure W Link would have been near as popular as Julian if he were able to be adopted out.
I've switched out all my villagers for now, I have both Toby and W Link but I also have Marshals card so I can have him back whenever. I absolutely love Toby, such an interesting bunny

Toby has definitely made it into my list of favorites, but O'Hare is still my favorite smug and there's no way I'm ever switching him out ^u^

While I do like the additions of Huck and Leopold for the Smug Personality (Leopold definitely didn't fit the jock appearance especially), I don't see them becoming very popular. Toby and Wolf Link I'm indifferent to, though. I think O'Hare and Kyle are better than them.

Kyle is the best. Tbh I don't like popularity or tiers. I like who I like, some are popular. I admit to Ankha, Rosie, Diana & Beau, I love them, and others I like aren't.

Marshal, he will forever be the most overrated smug.

I have Marshal (keeping, if he wasn't an adorable squirrel like the rest. He would be just like Diana, not living in my towns) in my main town, he was also living in Chocolat before the update..but I replaced him with Vich?.
Chadder in Moonview, I'm keeping him.
O'Hare in Chocolat (keeping him) and Julian, who I'm not keeping in Flora.

I really want Toby, but I'm afraid the Sanrio cards will never make it to the US.

Julian still rocks my heart forever <3. Wolf Link looks cool, but not having plaving LoZ, I can't really make a proper judgement.

Idk, lol. My current smug is W. Link but I'd like to replace him with either Colton or Julian simply bc of their house exterior.
