Advice?

Right now, Beau is in my tent and I dont know if I want to invite him to live in my town or not. I'm not sure if he is popular or not, or if anyone would want him, so could I have some advice?

no one can take him from your campsite. but he is a VERY popular villager. so you should take him into your town, and if you decide you don't like him then you can auction him off in the villager trading plaza thread. if you do auction him off you will get rich really fast considering he is such a well loved villager

I have Beau in my town and from what I've seen, he is a very popular villager so I would recommend inviting him to your town. You can auction him off for something good if you end up not liking him.

Beau is currently the #1 most popular villager. The list is a bit outdated, but he's still very popular. I'd definitely let him join your town. He's a sweetie but if you don't like him or if he doesn't fit in then a lot of people on here would be happy to take him off your hands

Ok! I'm going to let him into my town. Im going to have a hard time keeping him original though, because I love doing tasks for my villagers.
Should I actually talk to him and try to befriend him, or should I ignore him until he is in boxes?

A lot of people don't really care about whether or not the villager is original, and considering how popular this particular villager is, I'm positive you'll find someone who wants him and doesn't care about him having an unoriginal house or clothes.

I didn't have a campsite in my old town, but I have one in my new town,
so People from other towns can't take villagers from my campsite?

If your main goal is to make profit off of him, then yes, invite him over and ignore him until he pings to leave, you can make a good 10-25 mill off him by selling

And no, I didn't use the plot trick. I opened my 3ds and it was already on animal crossing, so I didnt have a choice.
Well, at least now I know what I'm gonna do with him

vurren, this made me bellylaugh. That is the WORST!! ...but your statement and the accompanying pic made it pretty dang funny. Dang that Beau. He ain't the brightest light in the room, that's for sure.

misspiggy, that's correct. People cannot adopt a villager from your campsite. They can only adopt someone who's been living in your town but is now packed in boxes and ready to go.
