I really like when games have online multiplayer. It helps keep the lasting appeal up and tends to be my favorite thing to do on games. So, if you could add multiplayer whether it be online, local, or both to any game, what would it be? It's really hard to choose, but I'd probably add online multiplayer to Star Fox Assault. I love that game and I'd never get bored playing online with people. I had lots of fun just playing local battles.

Online multiplayer in Mario Party. Nobody I know IRL is really interested in video games. :(

You know what I want Online Multiplayer in? Donkey Kong Country games. It'd be fun to have somebody else that you don't know play as DK/Diddy/Dixie/Cranky. Preferably with separate life counters.

That would be interesting with a Dark Souls-esque multiplayer scheme, where you can choose to play with (or even against to see who can beat the level fastest) for small increments

I would honestly rather subtract multiplayer from various games than add it - sometimes the main campaign suffers for all the time and effort put into online multiplayer and I'm not into it at all. If I want to play with other people I boot up an MMO. Otherwise I prefer local co-op - THAT is something I'd love to see in more games. The few times I do get the urge to play something with someone else, I'd rather do it with someone who's in the same room with me than a bunch of (usually unnecessarily rude) strangers.

I've been playing Captain Forever Remix recently and to be fair.. I think having a (friend-based) online multiplayer mode would actually be pretty neat. Give players, say, 10 minutes to Build A Rad Ship (TM), fighting their way through the solar system, etc. Once those 10 minutes are up, the players would each get teleported into a central area and only one may reign supreme.

It'd be like agarIO, only fun.
