I usually spend the hour before class pixel long new clothes. Had this GREAT. Dress design down. Rested my finger a moment on ds. It was power button ;____; there goes 30-45 min of work

Anyone can relate? ;; I nearly screamed right in my class

I didn't blame the game I know it's my fault I'm just sad. I wish I could save while pixelling.

As for doing that, I did it once, when I first got my ACNL. I was getting all set up and was happy with my very first town. Then I accidentally hit the power button (I had conveniently gotten the 3DS the same day and wasn't used to it at all). I was like...Well...Crap.

Haha, it was saved, but I got Resetti. I was like...OH NO. I wasn't aware that he's so lenient in this game the first time. It was unfortunate though, because I was almost done with the excessive tutorials from Isabelle that you get in the beginning, and I had to start over.

I do it all the time. Once I re-did all my path designs and went to hit "start." For some reason I thought I was still playing Pokemon where I got used to hitting the power button after my save. So I hit the power button and lost 4 hours of work.
I blame myself cuz I am trigger happy. However it's much faster the second time around. So I can't complain.

I did that once when my battery was dying. Thought it would survive til I found a charger. There goes my loss of work, haha.

That happened a lot when I was first playing ACNL. I remember I had gotten a lot of Pave furniture on Festivale and I sold them because I thought it was ugly (I know....) and I was feeling happy until I hit power by accident.
In my defense, that's where the start button was on a DSi (I think).

That sucks. D: the home button on a 3DSXL is really easy to press, and I've pressed it countless times during play, and have even almost closed the software a few times.

I was once so tired that i accidentally turned my ds off after being on for like an hour and doing a bunch of tasks for villagers... i felt so bad!
I never reset. Q_Q

how does this happen to so many people??? i have to hold down the power button for at least 2 seconds to get it even to go to the 'power off sleep mode' screen
it takes like 5 seconds of holding down the button for my 3ds to actually turn off

lol 'power off' and 'power off sleep mode' are the same for AC:NL. They equal to unsaved game.
Also it only takes 1 click for your 3DS to go into Sleep Mode... it doesn't matter if it actually takes 2 seconds for the screen to pop up "Sleep Mode."

I hit power once instead of saving after catching a stringfish during a fishing tourney. Hopped back on, whipped out my fishing pole, snapped up a random fish, and won the tourney with 5 minutes to spare! Caught another stringfish later the same day. I have been extra careful since then.
