Before i lost access to Browserhax, Soundhax, and Notehax, I was an avid town hacker. Recently i added another player because i only ever had 1 before, and as that turned out well, I added another. after getting the tent set up, I went to see Isabelle, and she did the TPC thing and saved. I went back to the tent, it was gone, except from a telltale dirt patch where the tent was. I saved and quit, But the character was still in the selection screen, so i loaded them up, and i was greeted with my character as a black silhouette standing on the traintracks, no music playing, and i couldnt move or do anything. i deleted the character, tried again, and the same thing happened 3 times. so i left it with 2 players up until i got homebrew again (yesterday) and i edited my town a little bit, loaded it up, and suddenly my second player was left without a house. has this happened to anyone else? any other known cases? some help would be appreciated.

Oh, man. I don’t hack my towns, so I’ve never experienced that. It sounds super frustrating :<. I found this thread on gamefaqs and although it doesn’t explicitly talk about your problem—it does mention that hacking towns could potentially ruin your file. I’m not that familiar with hacking/editing, but I hope this thread helps you in some way. Sorry about your character set-up problem! >~<

Thank you! I will check it out. I appreciate the link!

If It had to guess, it's probably related to some code not activating properly, or potentially a RAM overload causing errors because if you're towns are are hacked they're likely doing some 'suspicious' looking things not intended by the game in a natural play style.

Thanks for letting me know! Anywhere i can find a fix for this? if worse came to worse, I guess resetting the Town wouldnt bother me too much.
