Hello Everyone
Today is one year since I bought the game Animal Crossing:New Leaf. I bought a new copy at a small shop in New York for $40. When I got home,it was nighttime. I put it under my christmas tree unwrapped and played it the next morning (Christmas Day). I've had many towns, and met lots of good villagers, but some were bad. I bet Resetti would had lost it if he knew about this.

Congrats. :)
Wow, you've had a lot of towns. I got my game on Dec. 27, 2013, and I still have my original town. I'll probably be resetting it very soon though.

Your welcome to use any of my town names if you like. I hope when I restart next month, I'll find the perfect town map, get all my dreamies, get a perfect town rating, and of course keep it forever!

Yes, Mr. Coffee!

Mr. Coffee,

You are a delight!

I like, in your opening post, how you expressed having so many experiences playing "Animal Crossing: New Leaf." That you have explored the game. That you have enjoyed the game. That you still, after a full year, appreciate the game of "Animal Crossing: New Leaf."

I have played my original town, Applewin, since August 17, 2013. I used real time at first. It was my first town. I picked the first map offered. I made the mistake of locating my Mayor's house close to the Town Hall. (That's because I had the impression I would be in the Town Hall every time I played.) I love the town, personally, and I like that I have three villagers who were originally there on Day #01 (Normal frog Jambette; Jock duck Scoot; Peppy bird Twiggy). I like that I not only hung on to the three (of five) starters but also kept my No. 10-slotted Smug goat Kidd. (He's a sweet soul!) I like that the town?warts and all?has taken shape over a year in actual time.

I bought a second game copy (and likewise second game console) either in January or February 2014. I created the town Progress. I ended it for good in October. It was a town that I didn't feel had a future for me personally. But it had a kick-ass cast (which can still be seen in the Dream Address listed in my signature).

My third town Temps, which I started with my third game copy purchased last March, has a fine cast. But, it was supposed to have numerous Modern-style Public Works Projects that were not getting offered as suggestions by the Snooty villagers. That became tiresome for me. I found, with my reason for eliminating Progress, that I was confronted with also not wanting to continue a futureless Temps. (I will be resetting it in January 2015.)

I have a new, fourth town. It's the game-card replacement for Progress. It will get a Dream Address when I'm ready for it. (That is coming up!) I've been working on it since August. (Not every day, mind you.) I like the flow of the town. It's not perfect. But, I think it will be pretty good.

Your love for "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" is wonderful, Mr. Coffee! :)

I remember planning to have a modern-themed town, but it didn't work out. I don't know which town that was.
