About the grass in your town

so i read in the article put down below that in NL it takes longer to make grass go away in your town. Does anyone know how long it takes exactly?

There's really no way to know an exact amount of time because it depends on how you play and how often you play. It's generally a pretty slow process, though you can speed it up by running over certain areas repeatedly, and loading your game many times a day.

I picked up my game in mid-October after about 9 months of not playing. I've played every day since (so about 2 months solidly now)

It's only now that my paths are starting to show deterioration. And it's mostly due to the fact that I've just started another character so I'm loading twice a day.
