After I scan codes and go into my designs and wear the dress I scanned, how am I able to like save it in my inventory?

It doesn't go to your inventory, it just stays in your patterns and can be re-equipped from there anytime. The one drawback, of course, is that the number of patterns you can carry is limited. So you can only have up to ten QR-code outfits at a time.
