So after nearly two months of waiting for her to ask to leave, Charlise finally leaves. I then whittle through my entire Nook Miles on tickets to try to get a hold of Reneigh, as well as some tickets Donated by the lovely folks of this website. No Dice. I then get Queenie randomly assigned to me instead, and I want her gone. So I give in and try the dark art that is time-travel to try to get her to leave, but she just WON'T. I've been trying ALL day.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaghLeaveleaveLEAVELEAVELEAVE

....
Any Thoughts?

Getting villagers to leave is a really painful, gruelling task lol, hang in there! If you're really desperate you could always time travel to when you have a good campsite villager, ask them to move in, and reset until they ask to kick out Queenie?

A recent villager who just moved in, can't move out. You have to wait another villager to move out I order Queenie to move out (if she is your recent villager). It's how they actually programmed

I might just. I'm fixed on having Reneigh though, so it might take a while.

Do you mean ask to move out or moveout-moveout? Cos that's wrong, I think. Otherwise Ozzie wouldn't have asked me about it a couple a weeks back.

I hated Charlise lol I got rid of her and my husband ended up getting her and was like, are you kidding me? Haha she even told him she moved from my island.

Here's an example : Marshal just moved in to my island, meaning that he is the most recent villager to moved in. After that, I don't want him anymore so I want him to go. But I cant, cause he is the most recent villager. I need to kick out other villager in order Marshal to move out.

I'm pretty sure @CalQueena is right and just like in NL, the most recent villager won't try to move out.

If you want to keep all your other villagers, you're probably better off moving out one of them and have someone hold them for you, move in Reneigh, move out Queenie, and move your other villager back in.

Might work. Thing that had me confused about that was that Ozzie, who WAS my most recent up until recently, did ask to move at one point. I checked a thread here, and it seems while they're programmed to not ask, sometimes the coding slips. As a programmer myself I can confirm no coding is flawless.

I think the only way to get the most recently move in villager to move out is if you kick them out via amiibo.

Good news/Bad news, I did some questionable time travel stuff and trades, but I got her. 🥳
Unfortunately, Ozzie has been slain. ☠ He shall be missed, but there are many other cute lazy villagers out there.
After I find one, Operation Temporal-Clean up will commence. My island's got a lot of flowers now and my house is full of roaches. I have paid the price for my witchcraft. 🎃

yep rng sucks. it never fails the one you want to leave just won't get the bubble(I'm looking at you Chief). Here's another one for me: i have been trying to for months to get pics from raymond, roald and walt and they absolutely refuse. I just got to best friends with soleil and she immediately gave me hers. rng is just weird.

The Pic thing is a mix of Personality, what you gift them, and RNG. Wrapped stuff that matches their colour scheme works.

It really annoys me that we only have a day to look for a new villager. Otherwise, you will get a random mover or someone from the "void."

Can Nintendo give us an option to decline these random movers?
