Hello! I haven?t been on Bell Tree in quite a while, but I?d like to announce a little project I?m gonna be doing. I was born after the release of Animal Crossing: Population Growing (the first one), but when my parents got our Wii, they bought Animal Crossing: City Folk. But that Wii happened to be a GameCube backwards-compatible Wii. So I have purchased a GameCube controller, a GameCube memory card, and a copy of Animal Crossing: Population Growing. I already have the controller, but the memory card and game will ship soon. I plan to play AC:PG for one year and make journal entries everyday from my character?s perspective. I will then post these on both the Animal Crossing Amino and on The Bell Tree Forums everyday for a year. Afterwards, I plan to attempt to 100% complete the game, but I won?t time travel unless it?s basically impossible to do without time traveling. I won?t post every day when 100% completing, but I will post when I?m done. I?ll still play my main AC:NL town during this year, but I will mainly focus on AC:PG. If it goes well, I?ll do the same with WW, CF, and my secondary copy of NL. Anyway, if you like this idea, like or comment on this post, and please feel free to suggest town name ideas! Bye!:)

AC for the GameCube is the best AC game EVER imo. I hope you post lots of pics or take notes of some of the outrageous sassy things the villagers say in that version. I laugh every time I play that game.

As far as a good name for your town in that version I'm not creative when it comes to town names that aren't themed. I think my latest GameCube town was named Stapler because that's the first thing I stared at when I was coming up with a "good" name for my town.

I hope you love it though that game is truly such an amazing gem!!

How funny that I commented on your post about this on amino too! I'm glad to see you'll be adding your journey in both places ^^

I think a classic and cute town name would probably be best like maybe Oakwood or something ~

Good luck 100% completing the game. It's nearly impossible. If I recall correctly, there's many items that are a big pain to obtain, such as the Mario Bros. and Ice Climber NESs, and especially the train station models.

If you have trouble getting just basic items you buy at Nook's store, there's always the trading system, although I'm not sure if anyone still trades on GCN these days. I quit playing the game long ago.

I didn't know there was a trading system for GCN. It sounds dangerous, since you would have to physically mail your memory card to another person (unless they've figured out a way to trade digitally). I'm not sure I could trust someone with that.

No, it's not like that at all. You exchange items using codes. Simple as that.
