So I am a day late with Toyday in new town...later in some others due to holidays IRL but am wondering aside playing Jingle did you give your villagers gifts from yourself as well....?
The only way to give them a present is to send it in a letter. I only send letters and gifts when I'm working on getting someone's picture. I didn't do anything special on Toy Day.
A week before Christmas all the villagers received the small festive tree. The extra players send trees again if a villager doesn't put it in their houses.
For New Years I sent the boys Tuxedo. One kept it on for New Years and removed it when Spring rolled around.
