My name is David and this is my first time back on the forum in A WHILE! I used to be an active member of the forum back when ACNL was in its prime, and I absolutely loved it here. I had quite the shop in Re-Tail where I used to sell all sorts of things (my favourite being the rococo furniture set, obviously). Life got in the way and I, sadly, drifted away from animal crossing and the forum as well for many years. But that New Horizons has been out for almost a year now, I figured it was about time to spend my university saving on a switch instead (the animal crossing themed one, obviously) and get back into the swing of things! Since the switch I'm looking at is sold out in nearby stores, I have to order it, but it should be here within a week and I am beyond excited to start filling up my encyclopedias with fossils, bugs, and fish! SO FUN I AM SO EXCITED AHHH this game was my childhood and it got me through middle school, and now that I'm a freshman in uni (going through the motions of online schooling), animal crossing is just what I need!
I cannot wait until my switch arrives! I hope to see everyone around the forums, and I hope to be pretty active on here
I'm personally most excited to start collecting dinosaur fossils again in the game, and I can't wait to see the new museum design. At uni I'm studying biology, with a particular interest in vertebrate paleontology (DINOSAURS YAASSS), evolutionary ecology, and biological diversity!
Let me know what your favourite thing is about New Horizons (no spoilers though please, I'm going into the game BLIND)
