Let's say Vesta is in boxes on a Thursday, but my friend wants her, but they can only take her on Saturday, which is two days from now. How do I keep her from moving until Saturday?

I don't think you can. I think if you TT, she will still move out on her predetermined date of seven days. I could be wrong!

im talking about how if you could time travel back a day, would they not be in boxes another day?

Keep your town frozen in time on Thursday. Time travel back some hours every day, and make sure that the time never reaches 6 AM. If the time is 6 AM, the day will change and Vesta will be gone. After your friend adopts Vesta, you can go back to the current time without losing a villager because Vesta just moved out.

I'm not sure but you MIGHT be able to carefully change the time back a couple hours until Saturday but do that at your own risk XD

Going backwards any amount of days counts as going one day forward. The only way you can stop Vesta from leaving before your friend can take her is to TT to her moving day and then keep setting the clock back a few hours so it's eternally moving day. lol

Yep! Like AudyBanana said, make sure it doesn't go 6 am the next day or before 6 am the same day.
