I want to buy a game. My PC specs are compatible with it except for the memory of my graphics card (requires 256MB, I have 224MB.) What would happen if I played said game with a non-compatible graphics card memory?

It's going to be pretty slow, you may get away with lowering the settings and really minimizing any quality.
The worst I can think of is the game will be so slow that it'll just die and crash on you.
Where would I find my PC specs?
I think it's under computer properties on a windows. Depending on which version you use. Not entirely sure, though.

A game's gonna run with terrible framerate on the lowest settings even if you have the minimum graphics card. Your comp probably won't even be able to boot it up. However, it's depends on the Graphics card. 224 MB DDGR3 is a lot different than 224 MB DDGR5. Also, is yours an integrated card, or not?

The make of the card also matters. A lot of games only run with nvidia and other cards, while some like Intel are unsupported.

I'll just assume my graphics card sucks because it's an Intel(R) 82945G Express Chipset Family.

Thanks for the info guys.
