A question about TTing

Well, I've decided to TT on one condition for today:


If I TT to back 4:00 PM and order some items from my catalog, then TT back to 5, will it still order? And will it count as TTing back 1 day/TTing forward 1 day? I want to know because I'm tting to 4:00PM today. It's 5:21 at the moment.

And nothing will happen to your town as long as you don't pass the 6 am mark!

I would personally just tt to 4:59 though

It will not count as TT-ing 1 day forward. And if it's currently 5:21pm, if you order all your items now and TT to 6pm - you will get everything.

Everything will be the same and no one will move away, but the game will notice a backwards shift in time. This can have a negative effect on your turnip prices and visitors frequency.

The only real dangers, and where you should pay attention, are passing midnight (because the day will also switch) and passing 6:00AM when the town "resets" for a new day.

Turnip prices for Morning/Afternoon will remain the same unless you TT backward/forward a day. Since OP is only TTing a few hours within a day, the AM/PM prices will remain the same. Not sure about the visitor frequency though.

THAT'S what you mean. I don't think that's true. I've TT'd several days back and forth within a given week and they popped up often.

That depends on what your pattern for that week is, but turnip prices will change whenever you TT backward or forward a day, or just let time go forward normally into the coming days. Turnip patterns change if you TT backwards a day or more.

Tl;DR version:
It's okay for you to TT a few hours backward or forward within the same day just to get your mail quicker. However, if you have turnips they will spoil. For whatever reason, that is the only thing that will negatively impact you when you go back in time a few hours no matter what.
