a heartwarming tale of love, loss, and tea

so earlier in the summer i made the heartbreaking choice to reset my original town- the one i created on new leaf's release date. the pros definitely outweighed the cons, and i do not regret my decision at all... that being said, i did really miss a few of my villagers. one of them being the "normal" bear cub, pekoe.

since she's named after a type of tea, her name matches her design. she has exotic furniture, and even seems to be wearing geisha makeup. i think she's a new addition to the villagers in NL, because the first time i ever saw her was in a dream town video on youtube. she's actually the reason i was so excited for new leaf, because i knew i wanted my town (named namaste) to be zen themed. i knew even before new leaf came out that pekoe simply had to be in my town.

it took me nearly a whole year to come across pekoe. i never saw her advertised on the villager trading boards, none of my friends ever had her living in their towns... honestly, i kind of forgot about her for awhile because i had other dream villagers. one day she was in my campsite and the rest was history.

i really did miss pekoe when i reset my town. for some reason i get emotionally attached to my villagers (my nintendogs, too... honestly, i get emotionally attached to socks.) but once i'd gotten settled into my new town, i was really happy with the new animals i got to experience the game with. i was excited every time a new house plot popped up... especially when one of the signs read, "reserved for pekoe's new home"!!!!!!

i'm so glad she followed me out of the atomic pit that is now my old town.

She's not new, she was in City Folk and in my old sister's town. I glad you found her, she's very cute :>
I think villagers follow you from town to town. Cesar was in both Spectral and Cakebury and so was Coco, who moved into Chrono once she was in boxes.

Pekoe's a cute villager, good that you got her back. I think most players do get attached to their villagers over time (including me); it seems natural if you interact with them everyday, or simply out of familiarity.
