Alexis was always a pretty lucky girl. She went by Lexi, and she absolutely loved her name. She was skinny, and very pretty. Blonde hair, brown eyes, perfect figure, the whole deal. While all the other girls stood in front of the mirror complaining about one thing or another, baby fat, hips are wide, anything they could possibly think of, Lexi would say, "Oh, but Andrea! Look how pretty your hair is!" or "Oooooh look at Claire's eyes! They're so gorgeous in the light!" Basically everyone liked Lexi. Of course, there was one thing in particular that made Lexi special from anyone else, and she wasn't sure if she liked it or not.

Lexi didn't find out about it until her eighth birthday. the party was colossal, and everyone showed up. Jenny rounded all Lexi's friends outside for hide-and-seek, and Lexi was the seeker. She was walking outside to count on the porch, when she sort of....fell asleep. The rest of the kids assumed she was counting with her eyes covered, like you do in that game. But there she was, Standing perfectly still, breathing normally, blinking occasionally, just like normal. She was awake. But she was dreaming. She saw Jenny, crouching behind the Rosebush, she saw Tommy up the Oak tree, and Nick was behind the shed. She saw all her friends in the most unusual places. A few were suspressing giggles, while one or two whispered to each other, "she'll never find us here!" Lexi suddenly snapped back to reality. She pushed open the door and yelled, "Ready or not, here I come!" She decided she was going to test the dream, you know, just see if there was any truth to it at all. She walked up to the rosebush, reached out a hand, and tagged Jenny. She looked up, there was Tommy, in the tree. It was perhaps the fastest game of hide-and-seek ever played without the seeker intentionally cheating. Lexi was still puzzled about that strange dream, and began to wonder if it was, in fact, a dream.

Sorry, but this is a story, not a fan fic.
A fan fic is a story based off a game.
It's a good story though. Kind of makes me wish you finished yours.

What? Well I understand the fan fic part but which one...? I wrote a bunch of them...

What Lexi didn't know was that this little incident had caused an uproar somewhere else, in a different world. Elves all over Knigono Islata were arguing about the event. Should they open a portal to her? No, she probably wouldn't notice it, at her age. And besides, what if a different human came through? If Knigono Islata was attacked by mortals, there could be chaos. No, they shouldn't. Or they should at least wait.

It all started when Lexi was eleven. She was walking home from school with her friends, Jenny and Laura, when all of a sudden, an archway, pure white, showed up directly in front of her. She peered out through her pink-rimmed perscription lenses and saw it there, nothing all that interesting about it. "Hey, Jen, what is that for? I thought the Tulip festival was over already..." Jenny just stared at her. "what? You mean those flowers? Well, uh...Lex, lots of people grow tulips in their gardens nowadays..." Jenny tried to say. Laura interupted her, "No, no Jen, I don't think she's talking about the flowers. It's something else. What is it Lexi?" Lexi looked at them, dumbfounded. "That archway! See it? It's right there! Right there!" she ponted in frustration. Jenny looked, then shook her head. She started to say something, but again was interupted. "Let me see your glasses, ok Lexi?" Laura said coolly. Lexi feebly handed them to her, and Laura slipped them on silently. She looked around, first to her left, then her right, then straight forwards. She gasped and suddenly dropped her backpack to the sidewalk. "It-it's there! Just like she said! The arch! THE ARCH!!!!" She ripped off the specs and set them on jenny's nose. "Look!" soon they were both screaming in shock and, slightly, fear. Lexi finally calmed them down. "Give me the glasses. I'll wear them, and if you each hold one of my hands, we'll walk through it together. Okay?" They agreed, shut their eyes, and took four solemn steps forward. A rushing cold sensation tickled their skin and suddenly, the air was clearer, calmer, quieter. They were somewhere else.

A chilly breeze swished past the girls and they finally opened their eyes. they were in a forest. They had walked right into a different world! Something rushed past. Lexi gasped, and soon the other girls screamed. "It's a-no...they don't exist!" "On earth they don't!" "Then where are we!?" Came their mangled cries.A unicorn, yes a unicorn, was standing in front of them, chewing on grass.
