I'm considering turning my town into a gothic town (not a horror town) and I still want it to be cute.

I'm thinking that the flower scheme should be purple, orange, and black, and I'm not sure what else I could do with it. Any ideas would be appreciated.

However, I do like my cute pink and white town, and I'm not sure whether or not I should change it. I do want to mix things up but I've already finished half of my town! What would be a good thing for me to do? Keep, change, or something else?

I've seen a few good half-and-half towns, each side of the river is a different theme?
Maybe you could have half cute and pink, and the other gothic and dark haha? Just a suggestion!
Good luck:blush:

That's a really good idea. I might do that. Thank you~
I'm still wondering what to do on the gothic side.

Maybe I can do an everything town too, have a forest bit in a corner in the north and a zen bit down the bottom!

That's a good idea! Then you can expand a certain section if you really like its theme. For gothic I'd probably do some dark-coloured cobblestone paths, purple and black flowers, and a house with purple/black exterior and that fence with the spikes on top. PWP would be tricky, but definitely some metal benches and maybe just the regular street lights and clocks since they look kind of old-fashioned.

Well, I'm only having my main character because I don't have an awful lot of room and I want to have themed town. I might have a multi themed town, and some of your ideas are really good.

This is such a cute idea!

Here's some villagers I think would fit well for gothic but cute theme. :3 Also just ones that may fit into the color scheme your thinking of. But since it doesn't seem like you are fully restarting so if your not considering different villagers, nevermind. ^^"
Muffy, Stitches, Fuchsia, Gloria, Ed, Tiffany, Wolfgang, Freya, Cherry, Kiki, Rhonda, Lucky, Snake, and Bella.

I tried to throw all the personalities in there. X3

Something else you might consider, you can find QR codes for some good goth outfits for your character.

deviantart.com is a good place to start.

I'm not redoing villagers because I love a lot of mine so much. Thank you anyway ^^

Thank you. I do already wear quite a lot of gothic lolita in ACNL but a few more QR codes couldn't hurt

I'm putting my two cents in to avoid orange -- stick with purple and black. Great gothic colors. Red, too. If you want to be really extreme you could try to aim for villagers with only darker colored houses. Zell's, for example, would be a perfect fit. As would Lobo's.

Stick with stone/grunge themes when decorating your town with patterns.

Purple and black looks amazing with Muffy's house
