A campsite glitch maybe?

Ok so every time a move a villager from the campsite into a already taken plot the exterior of the house doesnt change EX I had fauna on my island and found Fang at the campsite. He moved in but the exterior of his house is Faunas. This has happened more than at least 5 times on my island wondering if anyone else has experienced this phenomenon?

I have actually with Peanut on my island. She has Sherb's exterior instead of her own. I was gonna push her out and find her again and re-invite her to see if it fixes it.

This happens if you time travel forward more than one day or time travel backwards while the villager has not moved in. It's happened to me many times, just move forward one day at a time until they have moved in. If you kick them out then invite them back, it fixes the issue.

Yeahy It is a glitch pretty annoying one but if you give him or her to a friend for awhile and then get them back it should be normal again ^^

happened to me too I ended up kicking them out because I was upset about their house!
