9th villager moving out?

i have to get ed, my 9th villager, out of my town as soon as possible. is it possible for him to ping me when i'm cycling? i think i read that it isn't possible somewhere on here, and i'd just like to check that again.

9th villager can move out. 10th villager cannot move out. As long as Ed isn't your last villager to move in then he can ping you to move out.

Your 9th villager can move out, it's definitely possible for him to ping you. It may just take some time. I managed to move out my 9th recently, for example.
