I think you might need to increase your purchase price, hybrids often sell from around 20k-50k depending on what one your buying.

Some useful info, make sure you dig all rocks using a shovel as they drop both money and ore every day.
You could also sell the Bells on these forums for 800k per 100 TBT Bells, in the TBT Marketplace.
I did it to earn a fair bit of money so I could buy things.
