30k+ bells in island hopping

I've been island hopping for the last couple days, looking for a few of the rarer gift shop items.
So far, I've found or bought:
Cabana series items
Mermaid series items
Red and blue Aloha tees
Aloha shorts
Captains Hat
Sanshin
Ukulele (in honor of my grandfather)
kitchen island (it doesn't fit my kitchen, rip 30 medals)
life preserver
pirates hat
hibiscus starts (cause I hoard them)
Sailors hat
sea globe
snorkel mask
straw hat
wave breaker
Striped suit
green suit
red suit
blue suit
and the last few times, some 'poor' mayors.
Remind me to dress more casual.
The hunt goes on.

Nice findings! I haven't been motivated to hop islands lately - I have yet to spot a lot of these things.

Wow, your trips were very productive! ^_^
Since some of the cabana items are purchasable through Blanca's RV and the Sea Globe on Pascal's and the Kitchen island on Franklin's, I have them. If it were not for that, I'd never have even seen them. x)

Those are some good finds!

I stayed up a few hours later than usual island-hopping last night, 'cause I broke my last axe while landscaping and was hoping I could find a silver axe. Alas, no such luck for me! But I did a TON of medal grinding last week, so if I do end up getting an island with a silver axe, I'm going to be stocking up for sure.
