The problem is the message wasn't sent to me. It was sent to aquadirt. Whether or not he'd report it is out of my control.

I said the same thing and also used what abilities I had to report the issue. Hopefully aquadirt will report him

While it might not violate the Game FAQ rules directly this is classified as "identity theft" which is a cirme according to the law, so game FAQ must handle.

Update: A mod seems to have deleted the thread without reading it. ~_~

However, this has allowed me to dispute the moderation, allowing me to hopefully gain contact with a mod.
