2 Years of Animal Crossing New Leaf!

Happy NA anniversary, AC:NL! I started Groddle 2 years ago today! Played intensely for a year and a bit, took a hiatus of a couple of months, then picked it up again and am still tootling happily along. The town of Earl will be 2 in July and Saalatu just celebrated its first birthday in April. Still badging, landscaping, collecting, dreaming and visiting and love it all so much!

My town's two year anniversary will be tomorrow! I reset on day 2 because I ended up hating several things about my original town.

Still remember my original villagers in town #1 though! Apple, Bud, Annalise, Gayle, and Lucky, with Phoebe's houseplot appearing the day I reset.

In my second and current town, I started with Merengue (who is still there!), Bubbles, Maelle, Elvis, and Jeremiah. Over the last two years I have also had Kyle, Shari, Curly, Blanche, Skye (staying), Goldie, Frank, Curly, Kiki (staying), Pompom, Freya, Bruce, Egbert, Big Top, Zell, Diana (staying), Ribbot (staying), Molly, Cheri, Flora (staying), Phoebe (staying), Hugh, Jitters, Gruff, Tia, Annalise, Octavian (staying), Bones, and Opal. I have lost three dreamies along the way: Kyle, Blanche, and Cheri. I am able to get Kyle back as soon as Bones or Opal moves, but I have chosen to set free Blanche and Cheri. It's been a longgggg two years but I'm very happy with my town. I want to have all my town goals 100% complete (all 10 dreamies, characters houses complete, picture collection complete) by Cherry Blossom time next year.


I've also recently considered getting a 2nd copy for my other 3DS in order to get Blanche and Cheri back, as well as have Tia, Queenie, Mint, Bob, Apollo, Pippy, and Ed.

In the past 2 years, I've reset 3 times. I love my town now, but... It's lacking something. My 2nd town, Sea Wind, was the best. I miss those days. Anyways, I've accomplished so much in the past 2 years, I almost can't even state it all here. It would bring back too many memories.

Hopefully Animal Crossing for the Wii U will be announced before its third anniversary, it would be neat to see how it would come out.

Nintendo has to know whether it will actually bring an "Animal Crossing" to Wii U.

I think it's past time for Nintendo to make an announcement of some kind…so we will know, yes or no, if the Wii U will have an "Animal Crossing."

After two years, I still have my first town and all of my original villagers. I can't believe that I'm still playing. I've never had a game that's kept my interest for this long.
