"16 villager cycling"

I had Marina er, not too long ago, and I've gone through I believe 5 other villagers that have moved out since she moved, and I miss her dearly and would love to get her back for Zucker.

Anyway, I'm wondering if it's true that if I cycle through a total of 16 villagers, that I can get Marina again?

Yep the DS system remembers the last 15 villagers, I believe, so once you get villager 16 to move they bump out the first villager to move from the memory and so the DS forgets you had that villager and they can return!

Just wanted to ask, but after you finish the cycle and the game erases said villager from memory, does that mean they can randomly move in again? Or must it be from campsite, or friend's town?

Yep they can randomly move in again
