i currently have the bronze hha badge and i want to get to the gold badge. if any of you guys have the gold hha badge, would you mind if i borrowed it? i honestly don't know what thread this goes in, i'm pretty sure this is the right one, though. anyways, if the borrowing doesn't work out, would you mind giving some tips? i have the gracie set right now with 4 villager pictures. any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I can't help with that. I finished my hha stuff months ago and don't remember what I used. I had luck putting multiple sets in each room though.
It was really hard for me to get 150,000 points for HHA, too. Certain items give bonuses, or if you have a complete set in a room (with the matching wallpaper and carpet), I'm pretty sure you get 30,000 points each. The basement is not graded. To get mine I actually just flooded some rooms with sets enough that you couldn't walk because I was so desperate, it worked though in the end! I put multiple sets in each room.

I'm having a hard time too. I'm not placing entire sets together in a room, instead placing furniture together that I think looks good in a more aesthetically pleasing way. I'm stuck between 75 and 85 thousand, but I have two incomplete rooms right now.

Whenever Lyle asks about doing an exterior theme challenge, START IT. The exterior, alone, will get you a TON of points. I have a full Zen Exterior, and on the Harmonious theme, I got a few hundred thousand points.
But if you have no theme set up, think of a full item set that you like, and try to get it all, and then do that four more times. Remember, the basement doesn't count, so you can make that whatever you want. I managed to hit 150k by doing a full Sleek set in the main room, full Harvest in my west room, full Robo in my east room, (Almost) full balloon in my back room, and full gorgeous in my upper room.
Another wise tip. Going on vacation? BRING YOUR 3DS, AND CHECK YOUR SHOWCASE OFTEN. If memory serves me correctly, you can only get up to 8 hits at a time via streetpass before you have to check it out. I went on vacation, last year, and completely filled my showcase. I have nearly every bit of furniture that I need, and I'm working for 1.2 million. So there might be a good chance that you'll run into someone who has that full set that you've been pining over.
