No disrespect to the forum or its members, i actually see some things i think i will really like here.
But its just gonna be so weird to go from 6,000 at any given time to under 100.

Smaller community = Yoi (Good in Nihongo)
you might be right about that.
the one good thing about having lots of members is always having someone to shoot the breeze with, as i keep some strange work hours(where i am now) and its cool to have someone on at any time day or night

lots of members: always something to do, but you usually don't really get to know anyone.

small community: not as many posts, but you get to know everyone on the forum

they both have their pros and cons, but I personally prefer the small communities, but both are fun

but anyways, welcome

I honestly came here a while ago after not being able to stand nsider any more. just too many people to get to know many very well. and many that I did get to know are here so problem solved.

I always thought smaller communities were better...

But, thats just me. And 13 members on at the same time is kind of a lot for us. D:

Well, I could see that going up a little bit, only because of the influx of Nsiders who showed up yesterday. A lot of us were on Nsider for long periods of time during the day.

I can tell a dramatic difference in volume of posts...but I can also say I'm glad not to see spam posts (though I'm sure there are some here, and there were some in the VC boards as well).

Hopefully more than 13-20 people will be on at any given time as we grow and grow, but we'll see as time goes on

:)

I remember back when i was really active here for the first time, 13 was a great number to have online, now that i'm back again it seems to be pretty normal

This is actually InvisionFree's most active Nintendo board, so... ya

Edit: By the way, there's a difference between being on a forum of a size like NSider and a size like TBT. At NSider you probably stuck around one board most of the time. For TBT, you'll probably find yourself looking around all over and keeping an eye on the whole forum, as oppose to a few boards.

I've already noticed that. @ Nsider I was either on the VC boards or the Legacy Boards 85% of the time. The others that I rarely ventured into were the Zelda, Metroid, and DS games boards, but that was rare.
